Bare Your Mattress; Bare Your Soul
A Continuation of the Patch Page

I don't just make patches of bands - I have been also known to do various other things, like tv shows and random words, pictures or lyrics. Whatever works I guess.

Sailor Moon was my very favourite show for a very long time - grade 4 or so on wards. I still love it. I own every single episode in the original Japanese version with English subtitles. I have a Sailor Moon backpack, fan, trading cards and a Sailor V shirt that I made myself! Wow!

Speaking of favourite shows. . .

No show can compete with Star Trek - not even Sailor Moon. Not in my world, anyhow. Although I do enjoy Voyager and the original series is always good for a laugh, the Next Generation is my definite favourite series. I've had the biggest crush on Wesley Crusher since grade two or three.

Wil Wheaton, the actor who plays my heart-throb, is married however, with two children and a dog I believe since 1999 - I might be a bit off on that. It's Wesly I adore, not Wil. It's funny cause Wil and Wes have the same number of letters and so do Crusher and Wheaton. Neat, eh? I notice the dumbest things. . .

But Wes wasn't the only reason I watched (and still watch) TNG - he's only in a couple seasons anyway. The show is just so great. Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard) is a really fantastic actor, and so are all of the supporting actors. Brent Spiner (Data) is a fairly well known name in the acting world, and he also released an album, Old Yellow Eyes is back. Picard, Geordi and Worf sing on it too, if that interests you. Oh, and Geordi! Levar Burton plays Cheif Engineer Geordi LaForge - aka the Reading Rainbow guy!!!! Everyone used to watch that show!!!! See - Star Trek rocks!!!!!!

I'm such a Trekkie.

Beware the strong, silent type!

Untalkative Bunny used to be the best cartoon on television, I'm sure of it. There is something so simple and charming about the silent angrogenous yellow rabbit. Is it a boy or a girl? And will it ever talk or will that strangely appealing music just play forever?

Another great show that I can never catch anymore, mainly because its not on anymore, is The Oblongs. I was introduced to them by a good friend at the time, Sara and gosh! That show kicked!!!!! I used to work on growing my back fat so I could hide stuff in it - just like Helga! She was my hero. . .

. . .Milo was so cute too!

Sheep in the Big City is a show that I always connect to Untalkative Bunny for some reason. I think they used to come on back to back or some such. Anyway, it was super show. I liked the poodle he thought was a fellow sheep best - the poor lonely sheep in the big, unfriendly city. . . .Such high drama. I miss this show too.

Astro Boy is a classic to be sure. I, along with many other people, grew up watching this show - the grandfather of anime its called. Or, he's called. What little girl didn't want to marry Astro Boy at one point or another in her life? It's a show that I'm positive is universal missed. He was so cute and so brave.

I have hazy memories of the show - I can sing the theme, but only cause I found it on the net. I remember one scene very clearly though. I think Astro Boy was dying or something, and they had him all hooked up to this machine and he was glowing blue. I found the picture online a little while ago, just as I remember it. Funny, the things you remember as a child.
